Air China Launches Online Check-In At Major Hub Cities
Passengers taking Air China's domestic flights originating from Chongqing, Guiyang, Xi'an, Guilin and Dalian can now choose to check-in at Air China's website.
July and August of every year is the peak season of air transportation for most of the major airports in China. Passenger traffic during this period grows substantially, which results in big congestion at the airport check-in counter with long queues of passengers waiting anxiously for check-in.
In order to shorten the waiting time for passengers, to facilitate the operational efficiencies of the airport and to ease the tension at the check-in counter, Air China has strengthened its e-commerce efforts by coordinating with the local airport authorities and expanded the online check-in service to major hub cities domestically. The online check-in and boarding pass printing service implemented in airports with high traffic volume has avoided the frustration felt by passengers queuing at the terminal, while bringing great convenience for travelers.
