I wrote (mentioned rather) about having a mentor in life. I have been fortunate enough to have mentors along the way, people who directly/indirectly, knowingly/unknowingly helped me in whatever it was that I was doing at that moment in time.

Today, I called someone I started to look upto as a mentor and found that the advice wasn’t what one would call, sound. Rather, the advice was more in his interest than mine.

Today Find the Brick!

Bro & I parked the car and went to shoot some pool.

We came back to find two cars nicely parked at the entrance cum exit of the lot.
We spent 10 mins honking.
Another 10 mins asking drivers.
Then went to the restaurant close by and asked each & every table.
Then called the cops.

Nothing happened.

Then another grieved party brought a brick. me being me, asked the guy not to smash the errant cars windshield. Thats when he smiled and placed the brick next to the curbs. The cars went up the brick, over the curb and on to road.

Today, Find the brick, that innocuous little thing, anything that will make a seemingly impossible/difficult/irritating situation, oh so simple!

India's Jet Airways announced today it has received regulatory clearance from China and will begin its daily San Francisco-Shanghai-Mumbia service June 14.
The one-way introductory fare hasn't been set yet, but could be around $700-$750 to Mumbai, and $550-$600 to Shanghai.

NEWS| Kansagra family in parleys to sell SpiceJet stake

The London-based Kansagras, promoters of SpiceJet Ltd, who have around 13% stake in the budget airline, are looking to exit.

According to sources, Bhupendra Kansagra, who, along with his family, holds the stake through family firm Royal Holdings Services Ltd, is scouting for a buyer and has initiated talks with "several interested parties."

NEWS| Lufthansa rolls out its India plans for 2008

Lufthansa German Airlines announced its expansion plans for India at a press conference in Mumbai earlier today. The airline, which had announced the introduction of Pune as a new destination last month is planning to operate six flights a week on the Pune-Frankfurt route starting from July 1, 2008. The route will be serviced by an Airbus A319, offering 48 seats in an all Business Class configuration.
